Lori received her Master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Boston College in 1996 and her post masters certificate as a Nurse Midwife from State University of New York in 1999. She served in the Army (Nurse Corps) for 20 years, retiring in 2004.

She met and married her husband while they were stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. They’ve also lived in Kansas, Texas, Massachusetts and North Carolina. Lori and her family moved “South”, to Anchorage the summer of 2008 after spending 4 great years in Fairbanks, AK.

She and her husband are proud parents to two active teenage daughters. She enjoys hiking and kayaking with her husband in the summer, both downhill and cross country skiing in the winter, traveling, reading, quilting and being with her family. She loves being a nurse midwife and believes a little chocolate every day is not a bad thing.
