Janet has been with Anchorage Women’s Clinic since 2001. She very much enjoys her work as an Advanced Nurse Practioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Janet grew up in Texas and moved with her family to Alaska in 1990. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Nursing degree in 1986  and received her Masters degree in Nurse Midwifery in 2001 from The Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

Janet and her husband Mike have been married 24 years and have a 21 year old Son who is a Junior at UAA.

She is active in her church and her hobbies include reading, knitting, and genealogy. Janet’s areas of expertise include normal obstetrical care and delivery, family planning, health counseling, and routine gynecological care.
