Karen McCreary, MD, FACOG

Obstetrical Care

Dr. McCreary graduated medical school and completed her residency from the University of Washington Medical School in Seattle, Washington. Today, in addition to taking care of local women, Dr. McCreary serves as a Clinical Associate Professor and site coordinator for the University of Washington through the University's WWAMI program here in Alaska.  Dr. McCreary lived in Nome, AK before attending medical school, and joined AWC in 2000.

Dr. McCreary enjoys backpacking with her dad in the Chugach mountains, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.  She loves to eat homemade cookies and has been married for 10 years to her best friend of 20 years!
